The problem
Colour, highlights and straightening block a chair for hours. If the agenda does not reserve the right time, the whole day slips.
The same service can take longer with one stylist than another. A single duration for everyone creates gaps or overlaps.
When a client returns, you need to know which shade and products were used last time.
A no-show on a colour appointment empties a whole morning. Reminders and deposits help protect that time.

Set how long each service takes with each stylist; the agenda reserves the right time automatically.
Cut, colour and blow-dry in one booking, with the total time calculated for you.
Record colour, style, products used and preferences at every visit, kept in the client’s history.
Hours, breaks, days off and holidays per person, plus the services each one does.
Email reminders on by default and optional SMS, with a monthly SMS quota depending on the plan.
On the Professional plan, take a deposit, full payment or a card hold through your own Stripe or Mercado Pago account.
Commission rate per stylist or a default one, with payouts recorded. Each stylist sees their own earnings.
On the Professional plan, a visit-based stamp card and automatic outreach to clients who stopped coming.

It depends on your salon. Look for per-stylist durations, a technical card per visit, online booking without client accounts, reminders and deposits. MODX covers these. It has no app-store app (it is an installable web app), no stock management and does not issue certified invoices.
